ServiceNow IT Business Management (ITBM) provides a simplified, team-oriented approach to Project Portfolio Management and IT development by combining several individual applications including Business Priorities, Fund Management, Effort Tracking, Risk Management, Quality Management.
The solution has the promise and potential to deliver this integrated solution for project & portfolio execution excellence, however some customizations are necessary to further enhance these customized solutions. The Integrhythm Project Portfolio Management implementation services are pre-defined and designed to enable an implementation with out-of-the-box capabilities of ServiceNow ITBM.
Integrhythm conducts workshops to demonstrate ServiceNow ITBM capabilities including the usage of the Project and Portfolio Suite with Financials to determine overall cost requirements, establishing resource requirements and tracking costs for demands and projects, tracking actual amounts spent compared to an approved budget, reviewing and analyzing submitted ideas before promoting to demands, creating and managing demands, creating resource plans, tracking capital and operational expenses, and creating reports and dashboards.
Following the ITBM workshops, we start ServiceNow configuration by enabling the Project Portfolio Suite in ServiceNow as well as disabling any unused components. We validate role-base access seperation of Project Portfolio Suite and IT and associating users, groups and roles. We then build framework for Project Portfolio Suite Forms, create a separate knowledge base for Project Portfolio Suite including search and authoring, and configure forms and dashboards based on client requirements identified during initial workshops.
